Bait Straps success comes largely from their flexible makeup. The larger hole on one end of the Bait Strap attaches to your line. The smaller holes on the other end of the Bait Strap stretch over your hook and provide a tight fit on the hook's shank. The combination of these two attachment points prevent the Bait Strap from sliding down your hook, creating loops in your line that can get snagged on cover like other devices that have tried to solve this problem in the past.
