- Tungsten is nearly twice as dense as lead, which means your weight is now about 50% smaller in size for the same weight as a lead sinker. This more compact size creates a more weedless/snagless profile, making it easier than ever to fish heavy cover like grass, weeds, rocks, laydowns, docks, and more.
- The increased density offered by tungsten over lead provides greater sensitivity, as the weight transmits more vibration up your line, allowing you to feel the bottom like never before.
- Harmony's Tungsten Worm Weights feature a smooth, polished inner bore - eliminating line fray. The cupped rear design allows your hook eye to sit recessed into the back of the weight, creating a more streamlined, weedless profile. Harmony's signature black oxide matte coating doesn't chip like other brand's painted weights. Each weight is laser engraved to show the weight size for easy identification.
- Perfect for texas rigging and carolina rigging soft plastics like creatures, worms, senkos, craws, lizards, and more.
- Each pack includes one set of ten (10) Weight Pegs to keep your weight pegged in place in heavy cover situations.
Whether you're fishing for largemouth bass, smallmouth, or other predator fish; winter, spring, summer, or fall, there is an application for Harmony's Tungsten Worm Weights. Professional and tournament anglers have already made the switch to tungsten weights from older lead sinkers for their numerous advantages over lead, brass, and steel weights. Now, Harmony's Tungsten weights are allowing even casual fishermen and fisherwomen to experience the advantages of Tungsten to up their fishing game!
Tungsten is nearly twice as dense as lead, which means your weight is now about 50% smaller in size for the same weight as a lead sinker. This more compact size creates a more weedless/snagless profile, making it easier than ever to fish heavy cover like grass, weeds, rocks, laydowns, docks, and more with fewer hangups. The increased density offered by tungsten provides greater sensitivity, as the weight transmits more vibration up your line, allowing you to feel the bottom like never before. The higher density also creates greater sound when deflecting off of rocks, wood, and other cover, drawing fish in from further away, expanding the strike zone.
Harmony's Tungsten Worm Weights feature a smooth, polished inner bore - eliminating line fray without the need for an insert, making them safe for use with all fishing line types (monofilament, flourocarbon, copolymer, and braid). The cupped rear design allows your hook eye to sit recessed into the back of the weight, protecting your line's knot and creating a more streamlined, weedless profile. Harmony's signature black oxide matte coating doesn't chip like other brand's painted weights, so you can fish around hard cover like rock and gravel without fear of wearing the finish off of your weights.
Harmony's Tungsten Worm Weights include one set of ten (10) Weight Pegs. Weight Pegs can be quickly installed to peg your weight in place in texas rigs, carolina rigs, and other applications, making your rig more snag resistant than a free-sliding weight when fishing heavy cover (grass, weeds, laydowns, docks, etc).
Tungsten weights are becoming even more popular over lead in regions that have banned lead weights.

Harmony's Tungsten Advantage
Chip-Proof Oxide Coated Tungsten
Harmony's Chip-Proof Oxide coating won't chip or peel like standard painted weights. Each weight is engraved with the size for easy identification. The matte black coating creates a stealthy weight that won't spook fish.

Tungsten's 2x Density
Tungsten is about twice the density of lead, meaning your Tungsten weight is smaller and more compact. The increased density also allows for far greater sensitivity with increased transmission of vibration up your line. Your tungsten weights will allow you to feel the bottom like never before!

Smooth Polished Line Hole
Harmony's weights feature a smooth, polished line hole that won't damage your line and doesn't require a plastic insert. Whether you're fishing monofilament, copolymer, flourocarbon, or braided fishing line, Harmony's tungsten weights are line-safe and won't cause your line to fray or fail prematurely. Eliminating the need for a plastic insert allows direct contact of your line to the tungsten for unmatched sensitivity.
|
Recessed/Cupped Rear Design
Harmony's weights feature a cupped rear end to allow your hook (or a bead) to recess into your weight. This creates a more compact package while also protecting your knot and preventing line failures when setting the hook. If you've ever broken off a fish while setting the hook with other weights, you know the pain that this feature helps eliminate.

Which size weight should I use?
While different size weights can be applied to many different fishing situations, below are some basic rules of thumb if you’re not sure where to get started. As you gain experience fishing different weighted rigs, you’ll find specific weight sizes that match your different fishing styles in your local bodies of water. Things to consider when selecting weight size are rate-of-fall (how fast your bait will sink) and type of cover (how thick is the grass, wood, or other cover where you are fishing). Heavier weights create a faster rate of fall than lighter weights. Heavier weights are generally easier to fish through heavier cover, especially if the extra weight is needed to punch through and into heavy grass, pads, or brush
- 1/16 oz weights are best for adding a small amount of weight to otherwise weightless soft plastic swimming baits such as flukes and paddletails to allow you to cast them further and increase their sink rate slightly, allowing you to fish them a little faster and more efficiently.
- A 1/8 oz weight is best for creating a slow falling lure in shallow water or around heavily pressured fish that are easily spooked.
- Weights in 1/4 and 3/8 oz sizes are ideal for fishing around sparse cover such as brush, rock, and light vegetation in 15-20 feet or less of water.
- A 1/2 ounce weight is great for fishing slightly deeper water or slightly thicker cover than the 1/4 and 3/8 oz versions.
- Heavier weights in the 3/4 oz + size are better for fishing thicker matted vegetation that requires a heavier weight to punch through it, fishing deeper water, or for creating a fast-falling bait that can trigger a reaction strike from bass and other predator fish.
Should I peg my weight with the included Weight Pegs?
Pegging your weight is often preferred when fishing heavy cover. The Weight Peg keeps your weight secure against your hook and prevents the weight from sliding up your line when dragging and hopping the bait. This separation of the weight from the hook can often cause your line to wrap around cover and snag. Harmony’s weights include weight pegs in the package, so you’re ready to fish whether you decide to go pegged or unpegged.
